First Update

Yesterday I went to group ride and cycled for 8.5 miles (all hills), came home and shoveled snow for 1.5 hours and then went to group power (weight training). I went to group ride this morning and cycled 9.5 miles. Group ride is a class designed for a hill/interval workout for approximately one hour.

Goals for tomorrow:
Group power in the morning
15 mile run in the afternoon.

Goals for Sunday:
SWIM clinic from 10 - noon. . .yes, I am actually going to get in the pool and start swimming, even though it is really hard to do this time of year with the really cold weather.

  1. I like your goals. Glad to see you're getting wet this weekend, and not from the freezing rain! Maybe try to tell yourself you can't bike until you've swam for an hour (or however long that goal is), or you can't bike until you've swam for 2 days that week.

    I think I could get into a group run/training. The pace thing is always an issue. I like your idea of taking the dog. I only wish she were trained. She is too crazy.

    There are SO many people that run with us, that there is always someone who is more your pace. We had to start Mara off with training her while walking as she was a little nuts at first also. Once she was use to the commands, we increased the pace (and distance...she ran 12 miles with us 2 weeks ago).
