Winter Wonderland

Last night Tim and I went for a 50 minute run (~5.5 miles) of hills on gravel during the snowfall. IT WAS AMAZING!! I LOVE WINTER RUNNING...when it is not windy and really cold!! After shoveling, yet again, this morning, I went to they gym and rode the stationary bike for 60 minutes (~17 miles) of hills (Mt. Kilamanjaro level 7). I "sweat like a pig" and it was great. When Tim gets off work, we will head to the gym and do a strength training routine for about one hour. Hopefully we will get to the pool tonight for about 1 hour and then I can take the day off tomorrow :)

  1. Looks like you had a snowday, too. I really like the winter wonderland, but from the inside looking out. I am really wimpy with the weather. I much prefer 50-70 degrees, low humidity.

    I see you have been getting in the water more. What's your motivation for dipping? Glad to see it's working for you. Cool beans!

  2. I am paying for a personal trainer who sets up my training schedule and I have to report all of my workouts to. It is making me get in the pool more and limiting some of my other activities...I definitely could have run farther last night and biked longer today, but the "plan" said otherwise.
